More wedding pictures

Here we have the happy couple in front of the restaurant where we had dinner. I think we had 14 for dinner. The Belle Arti was the perfect place for the wedding dinner. Downtown Hot Springs in a beautiful old building. The service was great and they had even set up a separate room as a small chapel with chairs just in case the rain was a problem. That was really great. Now here we have Christopher carrying Nina down the stairs after they said their "I Do's. He carried her all the way to the waiting carriage - it was so sweet, and it was a surprise. You should have seen all of us with cameras running around trying to get shots of this.

And this is a shot of the actual place the ceremony was held. It is on bath house row between the Fordyce Bath House and the Maurice Bath House.
Now, so far these pictures have come from my camera which is an older model. Some of the other cameras used will have much better pictures and I hope to be able to post some of those soon. (See the lady in the black dress above - she had a NICE camera - I can't wait to get a hold of those pictures, she is the ministers daughter). I think I am gonna use the money I make on my summer job to buy a newer/better camera.

Sneak Peak

Just got home from the wedding festivities and couldn't wait to post at least one picture of the newly wedded couple. Isn't she gorgeous? I kept telling her she looked like a movie star. She rode like a princess in the carriage to the ceremony (it sprinkled on us - no heavy downpours). Yes she was a few minutes late, but that's just Nina. The ceremony was short and sweet (lots of umbrellas). Chris then carried his bride down the stairs to the waiting carriage where they took a ride around town. They were dropped off at the Belle Arte where we were waiting. We had a wonderful dinner then went to the Embassy Suites for a drink then us old folks left the young'uns to their partying.

More tomorrow.....

I'm OLD

Today is my birthday and I just feel old and tired. I blew out the candle on my imaginary birthday cake and wished for more hair. It sucks to be a woman losing your hair. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah I know men go through it all the time - but this is about me and I don't care. Kinda cranky today (bad headache that wont go away) but it will get better. I have the day off work tomorrow so a 3 day weekend coming up !! I got a SONIC Card from my daddy & Carol - WAHOO. When you get a SONIC card, you should always register it on "my sonic card.com" cuz then they send you an email with a coupon for a freebie. So I registered my card, then went out to my car where I had about 20 or so used SONIC cards and there were about 8 of them I had not registered, so I registered them too and got more freebies and even found about 5 cards with little balances on them - another WAHOO. (Sometimes) it doesn't take much to make me happy. Here are my other birthday wishes (yes I realize that most are impossible - but it's ok to wish)

1. A day job that I love, that loves me, that pays what I need and has great benefits
2. All the wrinkles on my face to disappear
3. Turkey neck to disappear
4. NO RAIN ON SATURDAY
5. Lose the flab (everywhere)
6. Dinner at Outback
7. Lunch at Joses
8. Paula to show up for the wedding
9. Learn how to sleep through the night
10. Learn to love vegetables (hahahahahahahaha)

Have a good one, see ya round the bend.

Sunday Supper

Another Sunday, another visit from Connor Jordan. It may look like he doesn't like the pudding - but he does (so do I). The grown ups had pizza and Connor had Kid Cuisine.

Not much to update on the wedding, we just keep watching the weather reports hoping for NO RAIN. I guess Nina & Chris have everything under control. Found out "Aunt" Barbara is coming - Yeah - that is great. Still haven't heard from others - maybe they will just show up and suprise us :)

My daddy is having cataract surgery tomorrow - FINALLY. I guess it must have gotten to the point to where he couldn't see the golf ball any more.

Oh btw - just in case you were wondering, I STILL HATE #$&*$@ BOOKPRINT.

Here He is .....

We haven't had a good picture of Connor Jordan in quite some time so here is a recent one, taken just last Sunday. He is very camera shy and I have a super hard time getting him to look at the camera. Oh by the way, Nina found some wedding shoes - Yeah. Now we are worried about the weather. It seems the weather channel is predicting isolated thundershowers for next Saturday - which you all know is the BIG DAY. Today is rainy, stormy and just plain ugly so Norman is watching the Golf Tournament and I am entering Sweepstakes (my other computer keeps dying on me so I thought I would take a break and BLOG.) I think I have the Internet Explorer Operation Aborted problem fixed. I had added some music to the blog and I guess IE didn't approve so I took it off. I hope that works. I can't believe it is May already - time to start Christmas Shopping (NOT) but if you need a bathing suit NOW is the time to buy, cuz they will be gone come summer. I guess I'll go watch the golf tournament, maybe take a nap. Ya'all have a good one, ya hear.

The wedding is next Saturday May 9 in downtown Hot Springs. Nina finally got herself a "good un" as they say here in hicksville. Now if she could just find some "wedding" shoes".
